Life as of Late

I know I already did this pic but I just absolutely LOVE it! :) so life as of late... we have been very busy with work, which I am LOVING my job! I also took Dal to the Farmers Market because I absolutely LOVE going to that (it is just too much fun!!) While we were there the "band" that was playing, pretty sure it was just a bunch of random people who have never played together before, did a jam session with everyone there. They put out all sorts of objects you can drum on and had a drum session, it was pretty fun. One night Dal helped Clay coach baseball and while he was doing this I got to hang out with this cute girl, Ella. She is a cutie and likes to stay busy!

Last weekend my family came down to visit us :) It was a blast!! We packed a lot in for the weekend. Here is a picture of the beautiful/hot/longer than anticipated hike and the GINORMOUS pizza we bought :) there will be more details of the weekend on a different post.

And this week I finally got to talk to Emily :) I couldn't choose a pic so I chose 2  :) I think they describe us very well... we are cute and laugh lots (pictured below) and we like to be weird and go on crazy adventures together :) But those are stories for another time!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!! PEACE

Wedding Tips

So I had a friend that was been asking me questions about planning weddings and such so I thought I would share a few tips:

1. Make the day last. Don't rush through the day. You will feel rushed the whole day anyways (maybe that's just me because I was 20 mins late to the Temple?) Plus once its over you will want to remember every detail and exactly how you felt.

2. Keep it simple. You will be less stressed,  happier, and more excited if you keep it simple. I think mine was pretty simple and I thought my 2 days turned out perfectly.

3.  Let people help you. My mom was a HUGE help and it was even better because we have the same taste. If you do have people help don't be afraid to say no or you don't like it, it still is your day and they will understand so don't settle.

4. Make a list of pictures you want. That was a mistake by me. Before our wedding I was thinking of all these pics I wanted and when it came down to it, I totally forgot. I am extremely sad because now I have pics with my two best friends at their weddings but not of us at mine
5. Remember how you feel. I can remember when I got married like it was yesterday...granted it has only been what? about 6 months...but that feeling is one thing that you should cherish. I remember being in the temple, the peace and comfort I felt knowing I was marrying the perfect man for me, and afterwards being SO happy knowing that he was stuck with me for eternity :)

6. When the day comes, enjoy it. Don't worry about your hair, or people showing up late, or something not turning out. Forget about all of that and enjoy the day because it will *hopefully* be the only one you get. I will be honest with you, the day I got married I was frustrated with my hair because I didn't think it looked good. Thankfully my mom helped me fix it, and maybe it wasn't EXACTLY how I imagined it, but my mom told me it looked great and looking back it wasn't so bad.

These are just a few of my tips. If you have any to add please do!
