A Few Things I Love
So this year my Mom and I did the 14 Days of Valentines and it was SO much fun! I would definitely suggest trying it one year. We didn't do the same things so it was fun to talk about it and come up with ideas together! Not gonna lie most of mine were cheesy put oh well! At first Dallin was like, uh its not Valentines Day yet...but after awhile he was kinda excited to get his Valentine every day. I know my brothers and Dad all really enjoyed it too :)
Ok Here is one blog I absolutely LOVE you should definitely check it out! This family is super cute and I wish I had this girls hair! ha Rockstar Diaries
Also a few of my favorite songs as of late...
Been A Long Day
My Moon, My Man
Love
and also anything By Temper Trap <3 ( especially Sweet Disposition )
I just finished a book and I think if you have the chance you should read it. It's called Wake Up To A Happier Life by Amanda Dickson, seriously a great book!
I am SO excited for this weekend!! We have a family reunion to go to and I LOVE family reunions! yay! We also get to see Dallin's family :) I just have to get through this week...Wish me luck!!

Randomness
So lately I have this DESIRE to change my hair in one way or another (besides cutting it) I kinda want to do a melt (not sure if I can pull it off...feel free to comment on your thoughts about this) like this:

<- want that sweater

<- want that sweater
I REALLY want hair extensions :) Just to make my hair an inch or two longer...but we will see about that haha
I also really want a pair of boots like these:
I NEED to see the Vow that comes out next week ...go HERE to view my post about that. I am really excited for the new Bourne to come out...watch trailer HERE. I just LOVE all the Bourne movies!!!
This weekend I have a few goals...besides studying...I want to sew a skirt, shop at target, and finish hanging the pictures in our house :) I might get one of those done...well hopefully
PS I just need to brag a little because one simple call to my husband made my day SO much brighter today and I absolutely LOVE that I can count on him for that!
*Peace*

Reception
I owe I HUGE thanks to my Mom and Dad who made it all possible :) My mom was the one who helped me come up with ideas, she was there to decorate all day, and she is the reason my reception was everything I dreamed! Don't get me wrong, my Dad helped out a ton too. He was there to decorate, he helped us get a rental car, he went shopping with me and my mom, he even came up with a few ideas himself! Without them none of this would have been possible. Sorry the pictures are all weird...I couldn't get them how I wanted so I decided to just give up! ha

Wedding Day
That night Eli and I were laying in bed and he turns and says, "So this is going to be awkward when you get married," I said "Why is that? I thought you liked Dallin?" He responded, " I do, but when we go on trips it will be like you, me then Dallin sharing a bed." haha oh that boy cracks me up!!
In the morning I couldn't sleep in, I was wide awake and it was only a little past 7. So I got up, had continental breakfast with the fam and started to get ready for my big day! I was so nervous, but SO excited all at the same time. My mom helped me with my hair(she is amazing) while my brothers all got ready and packed the car. To calm my nerves, CJ put on some music and danced with me, what a nice brother
Even though I was up at 7, we were running a little late and got to the temple about 20 minutes late(I think they tell you to be there over a hour early because I bet most brides run a little late)
Anyways it was a beautiful day, especially for January. It was the most amazing experience in my life. We are so lucky that most of our family could come and support us and even some of our friends :)
Later that evening we had a luncheon which was delicious. It was so fun to have everyone there. It was our cousins' birthday Dylan Smith and Ella Davis, so we got them a wedge of a cake. (not gonna lie somehow we forgot what we originally bought for them so my cousin, Robbie, went out and got these for us to give them! he is so nice! "You can always expect me to over-deliver" haha) We were suppose to show a video but for some reason it couldn't play, I think Dallin was a little relieved about that. But I am working on putting it up on here so hopefully it will work :) here are a few pics from that

The Accident
So I am finally getting around to writing about my wedding, the reception and other craziness haha (it may take a few posts)
Have you ever had a plan in your head of how things are going to go and when you are going to do what? and has that plan ever been slightly ruined or pushed back maybe only a few hours but none the less you are kind of freaking out inside? Yep that was exactly how I felt the Tuesday before my wedding...
Dallin and I were planning on leaving Tuesday evening, so we packed up our car that morning so we wouldn't have to do it later. My mom and I were going over to our wedding planner's house to pick up my bouquet and a few other things. Thankfully Dallin decided to stay home ( you will see why in a minute). We were driving down the road when some guy pulled out of a church parking lot and broad sided us. We spun and ended up going over about 3 lanes of traffic. I am not gonna lie, I did freak out a bit, but who wouldn't when all they could see is blood dripping down their face and knowing that their wedding was only a few days away. Well thankfully Dallin wasn't with us or I think he would have been hurt pretty bad. Luckily my mom and I were ok just a few little cuts! Here are a few pictures:
This accident made us leave for Logan about 3 to 4 hours later than planned. We are lucky to have such a great family that helped us move in all our stuff til 3:30 in the morning and waking up to finish at 7:30. Luckily this was the only thing that went wrong the rest of the week ( besides me being a little late to both my bridals and the Temple...oops!)

My Nerdiness...
So my husband (yes that is a little weird to say still) teases me that I am a nerd. I realized today that in some ways I really am but I am not ashamed of my nerdiness! Actually I kind of miss my "nerdy" friends aka my awesome engineering and math friends.
Yesterday during my hour break before institute I was struggling with my last problem in math that was due in the afternoon. After thinking about it ALL day and basically dreaming about it all night the night before, I took another look at it and what would you know? I figured it out! Seriously it's one of my favorite feelings in the world, figuring out a math problem. After math class I went to talk to my Math professor to ask a few questions about the upcoming assignment. Somehow, we got on the subject of what he does for research. It never seizes to amaze me what you can do with a little bit of math, or statistics. To spare you all the details(probably boring), I will just tell you in short what I thought was very cool that he did slash does. He helped set up The National Library of Virtual Manipulatives (NLVM) for Interactive Mathematics, which has been translated into 5 different languages and gets almost 7 million hits a day!! Amazing right?! well I thought so :) Talking to my professor about all of this made me miss engineering. Not that I am going to change back to that, I don't miss it that much! I just miss the feeling of working so hard to code a program or put together a circuit board and watching it work right before my eyes. That right there is one of the very best feelings in the world. And that is why I miss engineering.
I know I am a nerd... I LOVE math and I like engineering and I will even go as far as I sometimes like Computer Science. This is my nerdiness coming out!

A Small Thought Before All The Details
So here is a quick post before I go into all the details about the wedding, reception and the honeymoon!
First off married life is pretty great! Even though it seems like we will never see each other this semester... our schedules are complete opposite! I have class or work every morning around 7:30 or 8 and get done around 6, which happens to be the time that Dallin is scheduled to work...bleh!
But other than that I think this semester is going to fly by! It was a terrible shocker to come from the warm weather in Hawaii to the freezing cold (suppose to snow all week) weather of Logan.
Also being on vacation for so long to working a full 10 hour day! boo!! but all is well :)
We have wonderful parents who have helped us a ton! The wedding was fabulous/spiritual/amazing and the reception was wonderful, thank you to my wonderful mom :) Don't know what I would do without her!
We are so blessed to have such a great family and wonderful friends!
