Our FHE

So for our FHE we decided to join a co-rec intramural volleyball team.  We had our first game last night and we lost, BUT we were playing 4 against 6 and there is a stupid ghost rule which made us give up the serve every 3rd rotation :/  I think once we get two other players we will have a good chance at winning. I am so excited we are on this team. I absolutely LOVE volleyball and its fun being on the same team as Dal :) After volleyball Dal and I decided to rent one of our favorite movies from growing up...Space Jam!! I am not sure if you remember this movie but it is a great one. I mean what could be better than watching one of your favorite childhood movies with one, someone who also loves the movie and two, someone you love and have fun with?! It was a perfect ending to our night.

This weekend Dal took me to a place I have been dying to try, Zeppes. It was DELICIOUS! They make italian water ice (kind of like shaved ice) and old fashioned custard. I got an orange italian ice with a twist of chocolate and vanilla custard in it, its called Gelata. It tasted like a creamsickle and one of those chocolate oranges you get at Christmas time. So good.

Snow Day

I don't know about you but I feel like its been snowing constantly...so today I pulled out my nice warm snow hat :) which now looking outside I don't really need because all the snow is melting :/

I do love the snow though, I think its absolutely BEAUTIFUL. This snow makes me want to do a few things:

1. It makes me want to go to the cabin. It is a beautiful place, full of love :) not to mention my grandpa built it!

2. Go hooky bobbing (I have no idea how to spell this). This is where you ride on a sled behind a car. It's one thing I feel like my family does every winter...besides shoveling all the drive ways! 

3. Sit in my place at my parent's house, under a blanket drinking hot chocolate. In my parent's house I have a spot I love to lay/sit. Its behind our love-seat in the front room, right in front of a big window. Back there is a vent and I always sit there with a blanket over me, and the vent, to keep warm.

4. Sit by a fireplace. I don't have one but my aunt and cousin gave me a fake one on DVD! This way I can have a fireplace wherever I go :)

These are just a few things I love to do when its snowing. Tonight I am looking forward to a nice relaxing night with my husband :) Hope you all have a good evening!

You can't really see how I hung up the pictures but you can take my word for it...its cute :) don't pay attention to how I look though, it was a long weekend.

This is from a few weekends ago. We were lucky enough to see most of both of our families and go skiing at the Beav :) it was so much fun!! Right now this is the only pic I have from that weekend, there will be more you will just have to wait :)

On a different note, I found out today that I am allergic to the Library. I can only be in there so long before I feel like I am going to DIE haha but seriously.  ♥ ☮

Honeymoon!!

For our honeymoon Dal surprised me by taking me to Hawaii!!! It was BEAUTIFUL and so much FUN. I didn't know until we were about to get on the plane then he finally spilled his guts and told me we were actually going to Hawaii!! I was not disappointed at all, I was super excited!! We did just about everything you could do and it was a blast (including relaxing on the beach) We don't look great in these pics so give us a break,  vacation + beach = not getting ready

Weekend

Friday night Dal and I decided to make a delicious dinner. We made Chicken Fried Chicken and it turned out pretty good...well besides the gravy haha We put in a TON of salt and pepper and then it tasted alright. You should definitely try it, it's a pretty easy recipe!




Also Dal decided to take the weekend off from school which made things 10x better. We mostly just hung around the house and watched movies, the dunk contest and the NBA All-Star game. It was really fun and nice to have some time together :)

My Missionary's Birthday!

Yes I know by the title you are thinking but Audri you are married....I am and I love my husband to death so no worries my missionary is a girl and just so happens to be one of my VERY VERY best friends :) Her name is Brooke Laursen, she is on her mission in Uruguay and her birthday is in 3 days :) On Tuesday Sage and Angie came over to my house and we made a cute little package to send her ( I will have to post those pics later) and I can't wait to send it to her! She will be home December 13 and I CAN'T wait! Anyways just a few pics of some good times :)

I also found a blog of 100 ways to make your marriage rock! It has some really really good tips on there. If you have time read this, its TOTALLY worth the 10 minutes or so it takes. Maybe it only took me 10 minutes because I get side tracked....
