Quoting the Perks

I recently watched The Perks of Being a Wallflower. The movie was ok, it's one of those movies where people either love it or hate it. There was one line in this movie that has been on my mind since I watched it, "We accept the love we think we deserve".  Yesterday in Yoga my teacher brought up this quote and talked about how we often give ourselves limitations. I have been thinking about it more and more. "We accept the love we think we deserve" is not just the love between people or in a relationship, this love is the love that makes us, the love that encourages us, the love for ourselves. We sometimes limit ourselves in life because we don't think we could ever get the job of our dreams, or be the person we want to be. In class our teacher challenged us to recognize when we are giving ourselves limits and to stop those thoughts as soon as we get them. And I want to challenge you(though there aren't a lot of you :) ) to do the same. Recognize the times that you are limiting yourselves and stop those thoughts, soon those thoughts won't even come to mind. And I believe once we do this we will be able to accomplish more than we could ever imagine. Here is one last quote from the movie.

Have a good day!

Boise Girls

One of my high school girl friends is getting married this July!! To celebrate we decided to have a girls weekend in Bear Lake at my cabin. They traveled to Logan Friday and we left for a nice relaxing weekend at the cabin. It was nice to just hang out and catch up on each others lives. We haven't gotten together for over a year and a half, so we thought it was about time we did! We had yummy food and played some really fun games :) It was nice to be all together again! (sorry for the pic overload)

Things I'm Excited For

Last Sunday Dallin and I went on a walk with Kendal and our nieces... this makes me SO excited for spring and summer. Last summer Dallin and I always went on walks and I have seriously missed them.

I have also been missin this place today...

Good ol' Boise. Tell me what's not to love about this place?! Oh how I just love this town and every visit never seems long enough.

Sadly I don't have a  picture of this, but I really miss our motorcycle rides :) gosh we have had so much fun riding around town and made many memories.

I also miss sand volleyball. I haven't played in awhile but I could spend literally all day playing. The sand between your toes, the hot sun, diving for balls, setting up the perfect attack...yeah I miss all of that.

Ok, I did just name all the things I miss, but these are also things I am looking forward to this summer. Hopefully I get a chance to do all these things with Dallin :) What are you looking forward to this summer?
