Two people I love

So there are two people in this world that I love more than anything. They have always been there for me and they are great examples...you guessed it! Its my parents :) Apparently I need to take more pictures with them because these all seem kind of outdated... oops!

My Mom is my best friend, I call her for everything. I talk to her multiple times a week and when its been like 2 or 3 days, its feels like a lifetime since we have talked. I call her about food questions, I call her when I need advice, I call her when I am happy and I call when I am sad and she even listens to me when I want to complain. Basically I call my Mom ALL THE TIME!! But I love it! She knows everything about my life. I love going home when its more than a weekend because then my mom and I get some much needed girl time. I have no idea where I would be without her.

This is my favorite picture of my Dad
My Dad is seriously the smartest guy in the Universe, right up there with my Grandpa. I love talking to my Dad :) He always knows what to say to me and always has great advice for me. Yes sometimes he seems a little ridiculous because he can be very protective but what can you expect? I am Daddy's little girl and  I love it. I love talking to my Dad too, I always call him when I need advice (yes I call both my parents for that), when I need help with my car, and when I just want to talk to my Daddy...yes I still call him Daddy, like I said before I am Daddy's little girl :)

My parents are the two best examples in my life. I love them both so much. I miss them a lot! I love that I can call both of them whenever or text them, and they still listen and stay on the phone with me when all I want to do is cry. They are so strong in the gospel and I am SO blessed to have parents like them. They have taught me so much and I am forever grateful for them. They are such a support in my life. It always makes my day when I get to talk to them. I hope that one day I will become just like them. Luckily I get to see my parents a little sooner than my brothers...7 days :) count down starts now :)

I know...my last two posts have been about my family but that's because they are what matters most in my life. They have the biggest influence on my life and they are the people that have made me who I am today. I love my family so much and I guess this just means I miss them a whole lot slash maybe I am a little homesick? I can't wait those 13 days when I get to spend sometime with them :) I love my family so much!!

My Bros

So I am the luckiest girl in the world because I have the BEST brothers in the entire world! I miss them a LOT. There are a million reasons why they are the best but I will only tell you a few:

1. They can always make me happy :)
I love getting random calls from my youngest brother Eli. They make. my .day. ha We don't really talk too much but its the call that counts right? I also love getting random text from my brothers they are so funny!
2. We do fun crazy things together
one of my favorite things to do when we are running errands is to dance in the car. My brothers and I will dance when we get to stop lights to see who will look at us and I LOVE it. We even sing songs as loud as we can.
3. I LOVE going to their sporting events
They are so good at the things they do and I just love going to support them and watch them gradually get better. I may get a little crazy sometimes and scream and yell and maybe they get embarrassed of me but I can't help it.
4. Wrestling
I like to wrestle my brothers, of course its all done out of fun. Its starting to get to the point where I can't pin them because they are getting stronger and bigger than me.
5. This doesn't happen too often but sometimes we get in trouble together
I have a few stories about this but one I absolutely love is one from a long time ago ha. My brother CJ and I always played the "gotcha last" game and my mom didn't like it. One day we were suppose to be taking the dirty clothes downstairs and mom just told us to stop and said " The next person to touch the other is in trouble". CJ being the smarty he is decided that while I was downstairs he would hit himself and blame it on me, well I got back up and he apparently didn't realize. SO He hit himself and yelled "AUDRI!!" haha sucker I was standing by Mom. He came out and Mom and I just started laughing haha
6. Playing games together
when we were younger we used to play green witch, bear and sardines. It was a blast. Now we have airsoft wars and nerf wars. We turn off all the lights in the basement and my whole family will play its a blast and a half.
7. They always know how to make me laugh
my brothers think that I laugh at everything which can sometimes be true. Sometimes they joke with me that my laugh is embarrassing or tell me that it wasn't THAT funny ha

Basically my brothers are the best ever and I miss them so bad! They lighten up my life and I can't wait til I get to spend time with them.  I am currently counting down the days to our next family vacation (13 days including today)
I LOVE MY BROTHERS <3

Remembering

I know I haven't written in awhile and my last two posts were for a class but I am going to try to get back into blogging :)

Today will be short.

Today is 9/11, ten years ago tons of people were affected by a tragic event that brought our nation together. Thinking back to that day I am filled with hope, love and admiration for the soldiers that fight for our freedom. I found this video and thought I should share it. It is really good and it makes you think of the ways it affected people that you may not have thought about, or at least I didn't.

I am so very grateful for what I have been given. I am grateful that we live in a free country where we can choose our religion. I am grateful for those that serve our country and spend days and months without seeing their family so I can live freely with mine. Always remember those who are fighting for our country and keep them in your prayers. Here is one more video I found as a tribute to 9/11.

* A special thanks to those that have loved ones serving. Thank you for your sacrifice :)
