Come back Spring
You can't really tell but it was snowing when he was barbecuing. The week before it was so nice outside I bought some summer foods. I thought if we barbecued that maybe the spring weather would come back...it hasn't yet but I am still prayin for it!

Things I'm Excited For
Last Sunday Dallin and I went on a walk with Kendal and our nieces... this makes me SO excited for spring and summer. Last summer Dallin and I always went on walks and I have seriously missed them.
I have also been missin this place today...
Good ol' Boise. Tell me what's not to love about this place?! Oh how I just love this town and every visit never seems long enough.
Sadly I don't have a picture of this, but I really miss our motorcycle rides :) gosh we have had so much fun riding around town and made many memories.
I also miss sand volleyball. I haven't played in awhile but I could spend literally all day playing. The sand between your toes, the hot sun, diving for balls, setting up the perfect attack...yeah I miss all of that.
Ok, I did just name all the things I miss, but these are also things I am looking forward to this summer. Hopefully I get a chance to do all these things with Dallin :) What are you looking forward to this summer?

Is it Spring yet?!
It looks like SPRING outside!!!! yay!! double yay because next week is spring break!!! I think we are mostly just going to be chillin but we will have fun doing our own thing...SO EXCITED!
I don't know about you but I have certain pictures that remind me of SPRING, this just happens to be one :) Last year I went to the Color Festival with some friends and I am currently trying to talk my husband into going with me this year. Hopefully we do!!
Spring makes me want to get new clothes. If I ever get the chance here is my inspiration:

I LOVE cropped pants! want them in light yellow too

This shirt is adorable
I also want to make this shirt. This is how you do it. It seems pretty easy...if only I had someone to sew with!! :) I also want to make a pencil skirt with some fabric I already have, maybe over spring break?! One more thing I want to make is this scarf. Here is how she did it. Pretty easy?! I hope so because I am new to this whole sewing thing. I probably need lessons first but oh well!

*Winter*
I will admit it, at first I wasn't ready for winter, actually I was kind of dreading it. But then I woke up Saturday, looked outside and saw the BEAUTIFUL snow on the ground, that's when I remembered why I LOVE winter.

my two best friends and me at the winter party :)
It is now officially November which is my favorite time of the year. My two favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love watching the snow fall, I love the coziness of winter, the lights, hot chocolate, fireplaces or heaters but most of all I LOVE being with my family.

Did I mention I LOVE cuddling with my two favorite roommates
I am excited for the breaks because I get to spend time with my family. I just love being with my brothers, my mom and my dad. They are some of the best people in the world!

I do have one problem, I need some more warm clothes. I realized that my boots are worn out so I need new ones, I want boot socks to keep me warm, probably a new hat, and long sleeve shirts. One would think that by now I would be set, but when you wear long sleeve shirts and sweaters everyday during the winter, which is a long time when you live in Logan, they get worn out and you need new ones.
Basically I am SO excited it is winter and the holiday season is here!! <3

Fall
I love the fall season. I love how the trees turn colors. I love the leafs cracking under my feet. I love the smell. I love wearing boots. I just love the feeling of fall.
Sunday Dallin and I took a drive up the Logan Canyon and it was BEAUTIFUL. We drove up to a place called Tony's Grove which was just gorgeous too. The colors are so bright and there is a little lake up there that was really pretty. Granted I was a little bummed when I saw some snow on the ground. But it was amazing. I would have to say I am already excited for next summer because I decided I am going to Tony's Grove a few times to camp and hike. I posted pictures we took so you can see just how beautiful this place is.

Sunday Will Come
I stole this from another blog but I really loved it and wanted to share it since its Easter :)
Excerpts from "Sunday Will Come"
by Joseph B. Wirthlin
"On that Friday the Apostles were devastated. Jesus, their Savior—the man who had walked on water and raised the dead—was Himself at the mercy of wicked men. They watched helplessly as He was overcome by His enemies.
On that Friday the Savior of mankind was humiliated and bruised, abused and reviled.
It was a Friday filled with devastating, consuming sorrow that gnawed at the souls of those who loved and honored the Son of God.
I think that of all the days since the beginning of this world’s history, that Friday was the darkest.
But the doom of that day did not endure.
The despair did not linger because on Sunday, the resurrected Lord burst the bonds of death. He ascended from the grave and appeared gloriously triumphant as the Savior of all mankind."
"Each of us will have our own Fridays—those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays.
But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death—Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come.
No matter our desperation, no matter our grief, Sunday will come. In this life or the next, Sunday will come."
"The Resurrection transformed the lives of those who witnessed it. Should it not transform ours?"
