We started our trip by loading up the motor home in Brigham City. When we were about 20 minutes out of Tremonton, a tire blew! Ben brought all the tools he had so we thought we would be able to change it. Unfortunately we didn't have the right size of tools for the lug nuts. We called the police to see if anyone could come help us, we told them what tools we had and what we needed. When they finally got there they ended up bringing the wrong tools! So Dallin called a friend and he went and bought tools and drove out to help us. Well we got hungry waiting so we cooked ourselves some hotdogs :) Sadly he didn't bring the right size either! Dallin and his friend went back to Tremonton to see if they could find some tools, while they were gone this nice guy driving by saw that we may need some help so he stopped and helped us change it! We were very lucky because everything was closed in Tremonton!!
We made it to Boise LATE that night, and the next morning Ben bought two new tires for the motor home, and we were on our way again! It was a LONG drive but we were in good company and there were beds...so I got to sleep :) As we got further into Oregon we saw these beautiful clouds and drove through them, I absolutely loved it!
We realized there was a Blazers game the night we were driving through Portland, so we decided to buy tickets! It was a really fun and loud game!
Most of the way to Oregon we had motor home troubles, so when we made it to Eugene we parked outside O'Reilly and slept there so we could buy tools in the morning. Ben and Brady did a wonderful job fixing up the motor home
We parked the motor home to do some Tailgating. We decided to go up to the school first to buy new sweatshirts. Luckily we saw a taxi dropping someone off so we took the taxi up to campus. ( so glad we did this or else we wouldn't have made it back in time to eat!) I think the taxi driver should be the weather man, he told us what the weather was going to be like the rest of the day and he was exactly right! It rained the entire time we were walking around campus, by the time we made it back to the motor home ALL my clothes were SOAKED.
We did our own kind of Tailgating inside the motor home with the heater on and cooking hot dogs :) There was a pep rally kind of thing before the game where the cheerleaders danced and cheered and there was food and all sorts of fun stuff. We even made customized Oregon sunglasses :)
We stopped at this small hometown restaurant that was delicious! Dallin ate this HUGE 1 pound burger, I think his eyes were bigger than his stomach but he did eat it all!
