What I have been up to...
A group of people from my major and I have been putting together a Golf Tournament to raise funds for a scholarship. It is called the PEHR Scholarship (PEHR standing for Physical Education, Health and Recreation). It has been a TON of work but I think it will pay off. We are getting some really cool businesses to sponsor. Check us out!! Our website is pehrtree.org
We are still looking for sponsors and some cool prizes to auction or raffle off, so if you know any businesses or anyone that would like to participate send 'em to our site! Or you can contact me :)
Side note of advice:
When it is your last (yeah you heard me right! LAST) semester of college do yourself a favor and don't take 18 credits. I thought senioritis was bad in high school...yeah nothing compared to this! Hope you all have a wonderful week!!

Christmas Break
We had a very fun eventful Christmas break. We spent the first half of the break with Dallin's family in Layton. Dallin's mom throws a Mimi party for all the grandchildren so that the "adults" can all go out to dinner together :) This year we went to Teppanyakis....it was so yummy!! Oh and I caught the shrimp he tossed at me!

| These two stayed at Mimi's so we played with them a lot :) |

Did I mention we ate a TON of really delicious food and had WAY too many treats?! oh and my sweet husband got me the camera of my dreams?! yeah I'm pretty lucky :) (I know this means I should have more pictures but the only ones I took are still on my camera...don't hate)
We then traveled to Boise to spend some time there and sadly brought the snow with us! but we had a lot of fun hanging out with the family, playing games, eating at Texas Road House, watching movies and of course watching lots and lots of football. For New Years Eve we played Pit which is a really fun game and had Sparkling Cider, it was a little slushy so it kind of looked like beer ha We traveled back to Logan and cheered on our Ducks!! woot woot
To end our break Dallin had surgery. It went really well and is recovering quiet well :) We spent the rest of the weekend watching random movies and Friends.
We had such a good break!! We loved spending time with our families and eating junk food! I guess this means I should probably start working out again...good thing zumba starts next week!

Oregon Trip
We started our trip by loading up the motor home in Brigham City. When we were about 20 minutes out of Tremonton, a tire blew! Ben brought all the tools he had so we thought we would be able to change it. Unfortunately we didn't have the right size of tools for the lug nuts. We called the police to see if anyone could come help us, we told them what tools we had and what we needed. When they finally got there they ended up bringing the wrong tools! So Dallin called a friend and he went and bought tools and drove out to help us. Well we got hungry waiting so we cooked ourselves some hotdogs :) Sadly he didn't bring the right size either! Dallin and his friend went back to Tremonton to see if they could find some tools, while they were gone this nice guy driving by saw that we may need some help so he stopped and helped us change it! We were very lucky because everything was closed in Tremonton!!
We made it to Boise LATE that night, and the next morning Ben bought two new tires for the motor home, and we were on our way again! It was a LONG drive but we were in good company and there were beds...so I got to sleep :) As we got further into Oregon we saw these beautiful clouds and drove through them, I absolutely loved it!
We realized there was a Blazers game the night we were driving through Portland, so we decided to buy tickets! It was a really fun and loud game!
Most of the way to Oregon we had motor home troubles, so when we made it to Eugene we parked outside O'Reilly and slept there so we could buy tools in the morning. Ben and Brady did a wonderful job fixing up the motor home
We parked the motor home to do some Tailgating. We decided to go up to the school first to buy new sweatshirts. Luckily we saw a taxi dropping someone off so we took the taxi up to campus. ( so glad we did this or else we wouldn't have made it back in time to eat!) I think the taxi driver should be the weather man, he told us what the weather was going to be like the rest of the day and he was exactly right! It rained the entire time we were walking around campus, by the time we made it back to the motor home ALL my clothes were SOAKED.
We did our own kind of Tailgating inside the motor home with the heater on and cooking hot dogs :) There was a pep rally kind of thing before the game where the cheerleaders danced and cheered and there was food and all sorts of fun stuff. We even made customized Oregon sunglasses :)
We stopped at this small hometown restaurant that was delicious! Dallin ate this HUGE 1 pound burger, I think his eyes were bigger than his stomach but he did eat it all!

Summer
I know I haven't updated our blog in a LONG time :) but what can I say?! We have been having too much fun just hanging out this summer! Here are some photos from the summer, sorry it is kind of a weird set up my blogger is having troubles today. Hope you enjoy!!
I will start with my job over the summer... First off I want to say I had a wonderful summer at the Conference Center. I met a ton of great people and made some new friends
Kylie, Robbie (my supervisor) and I pranked some people in the office. I have to say we were pretty good at it :) ha Here are some pictures from that. We made a sweet web on the door and hung things from the ceiling and put cups on the ground....basically the works.
This is a picture with some coworkers ------------->

Dallin's cousin Megan got married. She let me help with decorating and a few other things and I absolutely LOVED it!! Her wedding was adorable.

My family took a few family pics here is just one of those pictures. We went to a few family reunions, which I always enjoy :) Got some sun in Bear Lake, went to Pickleville, went swimming with the nieces, and basically enjoyed our summer of fun in the sun.
Our summer was filled with random fun! Not to mention we ended the summer in a really great way :) We were able to spend the last weekend before school in Boise. Dallin, my bros, dad and some family friends went backpacking while my mom and I had a girls weekend. Sadly I didn't take any pictures of us girls hanging out, shopping, getting manis and pedis, sewing (thats right people I made my first pencil skirt and maxi skirt all thanks to my Mom's neighbor Jodi, she made my bridesmaids dresses here) and we got to visit with my grandparents.

Life as of Late
I know I already did this pic but I just absolutely LOVE it! :) so life as of late... we have been very busy with work, which I am LOVING my job! I also took Dal to the Farmers Market because I absolutely LOVE going to that (it is just too much fun!!) While we were there the "band" that was playing, pretty sure it was just a bunch of random people who have never played together before, did a jam session with everyone there. They put out all sorts of objects you can drum on and had a drum session, it was pretty fun. One night Dal helped Clay coach baseball and while he was doing this I got to hang out with this cute girl, Ella. She is a cutie and likes to stay busy!

| And this week I finally got to talk to Emily :) I couldn't choose a pic so I chose 2 :) I think they describe us very well... we are cute and laugh lots (pictured below) and we like to be weird and go on crazy adventures together :) But those are stories for another time! |

So this last weekend was a very windy/rainy weekend. Dallin got the chance to help his cousin, Clay, put in sprinklers which will hopefully teach him how to do it just in case we ever have to do it to our own house...when we eventually get one. While he was doing that I had an adventure with his cousin Mandy and her cute daughter Ella as we waited in the storm to watch Dylan play soccer. Let me tell ya, he is a pretty good soccer player! Good thing Mandy had a HUGE umbrella or else we would have been freezing with the wind blowing and it raining so hard! Mandy has been nice enough to let me hang out at her house while Dallin is helping Clay and it has been pretty fun!
So a few Mondays at Dallins softball game, he was getting ready to bat and looks at me and says "this next one is for you!" Me being, well me, said "it only counts if it goes over the fence" So he goes up to bat ad sure enough gets a home run just for me!!! :) haha he is so funny! We love to wrestle with each other so I thought I would put a pick up of that! ha
And yes I stole these pics from other people's posts...SORRY!

Some Thoughts & a Deal
![]() |
| Us at the first only peak |
This last weekend we decided to go for a "hike". I am not so sure I count it because it was semi paved :/ We started up this trail by First Dam and I thought it was going to go up the mountain. After walking for awhile just going up and down small hills we realized its not going to the top of the mountain. Not gonna lie I was a little bit disappointed.
I have the sweetest husband (yay me!) Today he bought me a Hot Chocolate while I was finishing up my 10 page paper :) Its a good thing too because I thought I was going to kill a few very loud and obnoxious people who sat next to me while I was finishing a test! Honestly who does that?!
I hope you all got your taxes done and celebrated by going to Sonic yesterday! It was Happy Hour all day! Dal and I went after work and got ourselves a Cherry LimeAid...SO delicious!
Ok girls I just BARELY found this deal. I tried it and thought I would share with all of you! click HERE to get a free ring! I really hope I get mine :) and the best part is you don't have to put in your credit card info its completely free (that is if I actually get it haha) but it doesn't hurt to try right?!
As a side note I did a guest post for my friend Shaunzi on her blog. Its a fashion post and as all of you can tell, I am not the most fashionable person ha but if you are bored or just want to check it out go HERE
Have a good week and be happy! There are just too many things to be happy about :)

Spring Break part 2
For the second part of our Spring break we went and visited Dallin's family. We stayed at his sister Alissa's house and had so much fun! We got to play with our nieces Hallie and Savy :) Alissa and I made an infinity scarf that turned out pretty cute and tried to make a headband but sadly our fabric wasn't long enough :/ We had date night with Kendal and Alissa; we went to Zuppas (one of our favorite restaurants) and then got Gelato at Costco and went bowling at BYU :) We also got the chance to look at cars and I fell in love with a gold Honda Accord...but it is already gone :( We went and visited Dallin's other sister Laurel. We got to play with our super cute nieces, Shaye and Sienna :) We have adorable nieces :) then we went to visit his parents before we went home. Dallin got invited to the Jazz basketball game that night so His mom and I caught a chick flick, since we figured the boys wouldn't want to see it anyway :) We saw The Vow and I really liked it and want to see it again!! I had no idea it was based on a trued story! I swear Rachel McAdams looks good no matter what she does with her hair...blonde, long, short, brown, red...anything. We ended our spring break with a relaxing Sunday :)
Paige: I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands, to speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not and to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home.
Leo: I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms, now and forever. I promise to never forget that this is a once in a lifetime love.
