A Few Pics

So I haven't blogged in a long time but we recently had a baby boy and I want to do better at documenting his life. But first I want to share a few pics from the year before we found out I was pregnant. I just threw this together so sorry the pics aren't all lined up!

Happenings as of Late

This last weekend I went to Boise, oh how I have missed that place! It was really fun and relaxing before getting into all the summer craziness at the Conference Center. Since Dallin has been studying quiet a bit lately I have been coming up with projects and new hobbies. In Boise Jodi taught me how to sew a few dresses and we made some patterns :) She is amazing, check her out HERE and HERE. It was lots of fun and pictures will be coming soon. So now that I know how to sew and have some patterns, I will be doing that more :) I also just planted a *small* garden...as in raspberry plant and some onions. I have been practicing photography and here are a few pics I have taken lately:

nothing too special but practice makes perfect!! Also if anyone wants to be a little crafty with me and make a few things, let me know!! I could use some company :)

Memorial Day Weekend

 Lately we have been addicted to a show called Parenthood, we have been staying in and watching it everyday. So last Saturday when Dallin was done studying and I finished preparing for a lesson, we decided to get out of the house and go to the batting cages. My man is a good hitter, just look at his form!! haha

Monday our friends, Clark, Michelle and their cute baby, Rudy, came up from Kaysville to hang out with us. We went to Al's for a sale, ate at a Mexican place and then went for a hike in Green Canyon. It was such a beautiful day! We even wore our matching Oregon Duck sunglasses :)

Oh and if you have a dog and like to hike, you need to get it a backpack! It was nice not carrying our keys or water. I will try to be better at blogging, but the summer is crazy with my internship so lets hope I can keep up!

Graduation

We finally graduated!!! (well 3 weeks ago, oops!) Here are some pictures from graduation. Enjoy!

We threw a party at the church and invited our families. My mom and 

I went all out for the treats, everything was blue and white. My mom brought the flags that are in the marshmallows and cupcakes, they are super cute :) They had our initials on the back

It Is Finally Here

Yep that is right people!! Dallin and I are graduating THIS Saturday!! Seriously couldn't be more excited :) Now we just have to get through finals week...Wish us luck!!

Girls Weekend

So this last weekend I went to Salt Lake to have a "Girls" weekend with my mom, aunt Juju, Grandma and Grandpa (Hence the "girls")  I had so much fun with them! My aunt flew in from Alabama and we went to her son, Spencer's, Choir concert at Weber and then went to Farr's...yum :) Of course we stayed up WAY past my bedtime talking.

Saturday my mom and I went shopping, she needed some shirts to go with her skirts and I needed something to wear to graduation (I still can't believe we are about to graduate from college!!!) We shopped most of the day and put a few things on hold so we could decide once we had been everywhere. We met up with my grandparents, Juju and Spencer to go bowling. My mom and I decided to go back to New York & Company to buy a blouse that I LOVE for graduation (just so happens to be the ONE item I didn't put on hold). We got to the store and walked straight to the rack it was on and it was not there. A nice sales associate came over and asked if she could help us find anything. Of course I explained what the shirt looked like, and as soon as I was done she looked up and was like "That shirt?" pointing to a girl who was trying it on! I had a small panic attack but long story short, she didn't buy it and I have a new blouse to wear to graduation!! yay!

We had another late night and it has been a hard week to recover from that! I am so glad I got to go down!! Hope you all are having a wonderful week!

Come back Spring

You can't really tell but it was snowing when he was barbecuing. The week before it was so nice outside I bought some summer foods. I thought if we barbecued that maybe the spring weather would come back...it hasn't yet but I am still prayin for it!
