Time Out

This past weekend was wonderful. If you know me well you know that I have a special relationship with all my uncles, and I was the first girl to steal their hearts :) but how could I not be, with my cuteness as a little girl you would have to be crazy not to think I was just adorable haha Well it just so happens that my Uncle Justin came to visit last weekend! He was here on business but  put time aside to spend with just me and Dallin.  My uncle Justin and I are about 12 years apart so when I was young he would use me to get girls....he is not the only Uncle who did that! ha I could probably tell you a million stories about all my uncles and how they spoiled me and "tortured" me but I will save that for another time :) Right now Justin lives in Virginia (pretty freakin far I know!) with his adorable family so I don't get to see him that often but when I do I cherish the time we have together. I just wanted to give a shout out to Justin and say thanks for spending time with us last weekend it meant the world.

This past weekend my Grandma took me to my first Time Out For Women. It was AMAZING! If any of you ever get the chance to go, do it! The speakers were amazing and Jericho Road sang some of my favorite songs. Seriously I was in tears almost the entire time, either from crying or laughing so hard I was crying.  We went with some of my distant cousins and it was pretty fun!

Our group :)

My grandma and me
We ate lunch during the break outside and it was freezing ha but the women sure knew how to take care of us girls, they brought us cookies and chocolate to take in to eat during the second half of the session to keep us awake...even though we didn't need it because we were laughing so much! Here is one of my favorite songs by Jericho Road. Listen to it because it has a great message. It talks about what a man would do for the love of a woman :) Read the lyrics HERE

  1. Oh, I have always wanted to go to "Time Out For Women!" And I LoVe Jericho Road too! Sounds like it was wonderful--you are one lucky girl to be able to attend that with your Grandma!
