Summer

I know I haven't updated our blog in a LONG time :) but what can I say?! We have been having too much fun just hanging out this summer! Here are some photos from the summer, sorry it is kind of a weird set up my blogger is having troubles today. Hope you enjoy!!

I will start with my job over the summer... First off I want to say I had a wonderful summer at the Conference Center. I met a ton of great people and made some new friends

Kylie, Robbie (my supervisor) and I pranked some people in the office. I have to say we were pretty good at it :) ha  Here are some pictures from that. We made a sweet web on the door and hung things from the ceiling  and put cups on the ground....basically the works.
This is a picture with some coworkers ------------->
at the Women's Football Clinic. We had a LOT of fun!!

Dallin's cousin Megan got married. She let me help with decorating and a few other things and I absolutely LOVED it!! Her wedding was adorable.

My family took a few family pics here is just one of those pictures. We went to a few family reunions, which I always enjoy :) Got some sun in Bear Lake, went to Pickleville, went swimming with the nieces, and basically enjoyed our summer of fun in the sun.

AND..... We got another niece!!!  Her name is Tayla and she is just adorable. I seriously felt like I could hold her for HOURS!!!

Our summer was filled with random fun! Not to mention we ended the summer in a really great way :) We were able to spend the last weekend before school in Boise. Dallin, my bros, dad and some family friends went  backpacking while my mom and I had a girls weekend. Sadly I didn't take any pictures of us girls hanging out, shopping, getting manis and pedis, sewing (thats right people I made my first pencil skirt and maxi skirt all thanks to my Mom's neighbor Jodi, she made my bridesmaids dresses here) and we got to visit with my grandparents.
This is my favorite from backpacking

Well that was our summer in a nut shell!! Now that the longest week of our life is almost over, its time for us to start crackin down so we can graduate :)

Our fourth

I don't know about all of you but we had a WONDERFUL fourth. It was nice to have a random day off in the middle of the week, it made our week go by fast! We went down to Centerville on Tuesday night, went to dinner with Dallin's mom, and went to our friends house to watch fireworks and play cards. I realized that night that we kind of are an old married couple...it felt like 2 am when it wasn't even midnight!!
The next day we went swimming with this cute little family :)

We had a picnic and played on the swings :)
Then we went back to Alissa's house where the girls got to do girl things, like paint our nails and do our hair (well unless you were me I didn't and you can tell...oops!) and the boys watched sports!

Isn't this the cutest?!
We decided to watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks but outside the stadium. I would say the girls had fun jumping on Papa and they actually liked the fireworks! :)

yep, Hallie is sittin on Papa's face!

And just to add on to all the fun, we got to see Nate and Kelly that Saturday! We spent the day playing volleyball in the sun and hanging with the kids in Bear Lake ( i love that place). Thanks you guys for inviting us to play!! We will miss you!!

Life as of Late

I know I already did this pic but I just absolutely LOVE it! :) so life as of late... we have been very busy with work, which I am LOVING my job! I also took Dal to the Farmers Market because I absolutely LOVE going to that (it is just too much fun!!) While we were there the "band" that was playing, pretty sure it was just a bunch of random people who have never played together before, did a jam session with everyone there. They put out all sorts of objects you can drum on and had a drum session, it was pretty fun. One night Dal helped Clay coach baseball and while he was doing this I got to hang out with this cute girl, Ella. She is a cutie and likes to stay busy!

Last weekend my family came down to visit us :) It was a blast!! We packed a lot in for the weekend. Here is a picture of the beautiful/hot/longer than anticipated hike and the GINORMOUS pizza we bought :) there will be more details of the weekend on a different post.

And this week I finally got to talk to Emily :) I couldn't choose a pic so I chose 2  :) I think they describe us very well... we are cute and laugh lots (pictured below) and we like to be weird and go on crazy adventures together :) But those are stories for another time!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!! PEACE

Wedding Tips

So I had a friend that was been asking me questions about planning weddings and such so I thought I would share a few tips:

1. Make the day last. Don't rush through the day. You will feel rushed the whole day anyways (maybe that's just me because I was 20 mins late to the Temple?) Plus once its over you will want to remember every detail and exactly how you felt.

2. Keep it simple. You will be less stressed,  happier, and more excited if you keep it simple. I think mine was pretty simple and I thought my 2 days turned out perfectly.

3.  Let people help you. My mom was a HUGE help and it was even better because we have the same taste. If you do have people help don't be afraid to say no or you don't like it, it still is your day and they will understand so don't settle.

4. Make a list of pictures you want. That was a mistake by me. Before our wedding I was thinking of all these pics I wanted and when it came down to it, I totally forgot. I am extremely sad because now I have pics with my two best friends at their weddings but not of us at mine
5. Remember how you feel. I can remember when I got married like it was yesterday...granted it has only been what? about 6 months...but that feeling is one thing that you should cherish. I remember being in the temple, the peace and comfort I felt knowing I was marrying the perfect man for me, and afterwards being SO happy knowing that he was stuck with me for eternity :)

6. When the day comes, enjoy it. Don't worry about your hair, or people showing up late, or something not turning out. Forget about all of that and enjoy the day because it will *hopefully* be the only one you get. I will be honest with you, the day I got married I was frustrated with my hair because I didn't think it looked good. Thankfully my mom helped me fix it, and maybe it wasn't EXACTLY how I imagined it, but my mom told me it looked great and looking back it wasn't so bad.

These are just a few of my tips. If you have any to add please do!

So this last weekend was a very windy/rainy weekend. Dallin got the chance to help his cousin, Clay, put in sprinklers which will hopefully teach him how to do it just in case we ever have to do it to our own house...when we eventually get one. While he was doing that I had an adventure with his cousin Mandy and her cute daughter Ella as we waited in the storm to watch Dylan play soccer. Let me tell ya, he is a pretty good soccer player! Good thing Mandy had a HUGE umbrella or else we would have been freezing with the wind blowing and it raining so hard! Mandy has been nice enough to let me hang out at her house while Dallin is helping Clay and it has been pretty fun!

So a few Mondays at Dallins softball game, he was getting ready to bat and looks at me and says "this next one is for you!" Me being, well me, said "it only counts if it goes over the fence" So he goes up to bat ad sure enough gets a home run just for me!!! :) haha he is so funny!

We love to wrestle with each other so I thought I would put a pick up of that! ha

And yes I stole these pics from other people's posts...SORRY!

Summer so Far

So for those of you who didn't know, I started a new job for the summer and it has been so great! It is right up my ally on what I want to do when I graduate :) I am an assistant to a Youth Conference Coordinator and so far I have loved it! Dallin is still working for IT building rooms so he is staying busy too :)

We have been able to go on walks almost every night (which has been wonderful) we went and saw the Avengers (if you haven't seen it, its a must!) Dallin got the chance to play in a lacrosse game and we were able to spend a day with his family which was a lot of fun, I am still looking for my camera charger so sorry no pics!! His nieces are just adorable and Dal likes to tease them a lot, its pretty cute. Also this last weekend we were able to go to Boise to visit my family. As always there were lots of games to attend but that didn't stop my mom and I from getting our shopping trip in while the boys watched lacrosse.  I was way excited because I found a way cute skirt and dress :) Dallin got my brothers all hooked to lacrosse and now they want to play... so we will see if that does happen in the future :) I know its a short post, hopefully I will get better and find my charger so I can take some pics :) I will leave you with this video because I find it hilarious!

Internet Findings

I found these lovely ladies and they are super fun to watch:

The Girls With Glasses

Goal of this summer is to go shopping at City Creek :) Here is my inspiration:

isn't Audrey Hepburn just the classiest person that ever existed?!

I also stumbled across nothing to do in logan which is a site full of date ideas for people in Logan. It also has links to different places in Logan that are fun.

Boy Bands makin a come back?! I think yes! If you haven't heard it listen to Glad You Came by The Wanted and here is another Boy Band: (and yes they make me feel like a 13 year old girl) ha

Also look at this song just because I love it <3

This is for those of you that have seen Mean Girls:

Time to celebrate being done with finals with my husband! Have a great weekend everyone!!
